Step 23: Add a Search
Earlier in this article, I mentioned that, if we are not going to add a Search functionalities, it is extremely easy to build a website without any plugins and custom codings.
However, as you can see in most website, everything starts with a search.
One of benefits in providing search is that the website can collect information from users to know what users are searching for. This gives website an opportunity to customize the website for the users and to provide information users are interested at.
So here, after all is done, I am going to add a search box at homepage to further polish this website.
The search box I am using is the default WooCommerce search box.
For now, I use a code snippets that I am attaching screenshots. There are several ways to create search. I will talk about that later.
