How to register a domain name if you are located outside the U.S.

Google Domains currently are available to users located in the U.S. and several other countries.

See https://support.google.com/domains/answer/4639612?hl=en

  • Australia
  • Brazil
  • Canada
  • France
  • India
  • Indonesia
  • Italy
  • Japan
  • Mexico
  • Netherlands
  • Spain
  • Thailand
  • United Kingdom
  • United States of America
  • Vietnam

If you are not located in one of these countries and want to register a domain ending .com, one solution is to use VPN service and select ‘United States’ as your preferred network. Among the VPN services, I recommend encrypt.me.

If you want to register a domain that does not end .com and is another country, Godaddy is an alternative.

Even if you register a domain name at Godaddy, you can still use Bluehost as your hosting company, and vice versa.  All you need to do is to change name of nameserver.
