Step 16: Preparations outside WordPress

Here we will activate plugin Jetpack by sign up a wordpress.com account. Then sign up a Stripe account and a PayPal account so that we can take money from customers.

I like the following features offered from Jetpack:

1. post sharing buttons (free)
2. protection against multiple login (free)
3. fast images loading (free)
4. backup plan (paid)

Until this point, we are not paying for anything. I strongly recommend paying for the backup plan. It is a disaster recovery plan. Every site should have it.

Now that we have a foundation of security and performance, next we will fine tune the website with some free and paid plugins and make the website looks really fantastic.
